GENEALOGY
THE FAMILY TREES OF MJ
A huge endeavor on my part is to trace and catalogue my family history. I began this undertaking a few years ago and it has taken me on a fantastic journey in the different directions my family lines travelled from, covering the history of new and transforming nations along the way.
This labor of love has become an obsession to find my roots and discover more about my colorful family history. My paternal lines stem from a blend of French, Native Indian and immigrant Irish; my maternal lines from immigrant Scottish and English.
Through my search I have found relatives near and far and look forward to making contact with all that are also interested in the lines I am researching. I have also included some info on my ex-husband, Helmut Klassen's, family lines for anyone searching their Mennonite/German/Ukrainian roots from the Ukraine/Russia.
I would like to take the time to thank the many people that have helped me add to this family tree. With their continued help and support I hope to complete the family charts back in time to our earliest recorded ancestors.
Listed are the surnames I am presently working on in my search for ancestors. Some are in my direct line and some are related through marriage and/or are associated through marriage crossing into my line. I am adding all names associated to my family so that others searching might find their own relatives by surname or family association.

From the surname index you can access information on people not listed in the descendant charts.
Photos passed down thru the generations appear in albums listed by family surname. I am presently scanning and resizing photos so that each album has several photos to choose from and won't take forever to load.

This is my first attempt ata genealogy webpage so please check back often as this site is continually under construction. I will be adding more information and photos from my files as I can get the time. If you find that you can make a link to your own search from info I have listed here please let me know. If anyone has info that may contradict what I have posted I would be interested in sharing documents. I have direct documentation on some but not all of the people listed here on my site.
